In the upcoming fifth episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones, fans can expect more bloodshed in the castle and a royal wedding proposal by King Viserys. The trailer for the episode also promises the appearance of the obscene court jester from George RR Martin’s Fire & Blood book series. Episode 5 is called “We Light the Way”
In this episode, Viserys is ill and his Arch Maester Mellos suggests the use of leeches to cure him. He also takes a potion to sleep. Later, he and Lyonel Strong have a private conversation, and Viserys is deeply reflective. Lyonel calls Viserys’s reflection “good fortune,” but says that it’s more important to live in peace. Rhaenyra and Viserys are still not officially married. However, this episode will kick-start a week of wedding celebrations.
