The Asus Zenbook Pro 14 Duo O LED is an impressive powerhouse of a laptop. This laptop comes at a steep price, but it’s worth it because it takes a bold approach to PCs. Its screen has a bright, vibrant color and is responsive enough to use without glaring at you.

Asus ScreenPad Plus

ASUS has updated the ScreenPad Plus for the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED with new software that makes cross-screen multitasking and creative workflows more efficient. The built-in apps and Control Center UI also help to enhance productivity. Users can open compatible apps and toggle features via shortcut keys.

The Asus ScreenPad Plus for Zenbook Pro has an optional second screen that raises up from the bottom, allowing you to multitask without having to sacrifice the keyboard area. The dual-screen laptop also has a powerful 12th Generation Intel Core chip and is designed for content creators.

The ScreenPad Plus has a matte surface and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is important for inking because the faster the refresh rate, the less lag between the movement of the stylus and the screen’s response. Asus has included two 120Hz screens in the laptop, which greatly enhances inking performance. However, one drawback of the ScreenPad Plus is that the screen is not as responsive to changing viewing angles as the primary screen.

The Asus ScreenPad Plus for Zenbook Pro features an angled ScreenPad to allow more airflow. It also boasts ASUS IceCool Plus cooling system to keep the screen cool. The screen is also equipped with a touchpad that is located to the side of the keyboard. However, this placement may not be ideal for users who are left-handed. For such users, the ScreenPad+ can be used as a touchpad by simply tapping the screen with three fingers.

Asus ScreenPad

Asus’ Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is a laptop with an impressive 14.5-inch main display. Its 2.8K resolution offers great pixel density, and the 120 Hz refresh rate gives you crisp fonts. The touchscreen is also touch-enabled, with a stylus-friendly surface.

The Asus ScreenPad is a useful extra, as it allows you to move applications to the second screen. However, you may find it frustrating to multitask while using it. This is not the best laptop for a variety of tasks, but it is very useful for casual use. For instance, it allows you to view a video chat while playing games.

Another feature that makes the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo stand out is the hinge. Its hinge is a very sturdy one. In my testing, I was able to observe zero flex on both the lid and the base. Its hinges are innovative and excellent.

While Asus has been experimenting with dual screens for a long time, it seems that they’ve mastered the art. The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED has a 14.5-inch OLED display, with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The screen’s resolution is also impressive, at 2880 x 1800. While it’s not as sharp as the MacBook Pro’s 4K display, it’s still a massive upgrade over a 1080p laptop. The screen is also surprisingly bright for its size.

The screen is backlit with white LEDs, with three brightness levels. Asus has also added an Ergolift stand, a two-piece adhesive stand that doesn’t peel off. This improves cooling and increases the viewing angle of the ScreenPad. The stand is also foldable, so it can be kept out of the way when you’re not using it.
