Today, many organizations are generating massive unstructured data sets, which must be transferred efficiently and safely across the globe. The traditional methods of transfer, like FTP, are inadequate for the sheer volume of data and the distances involved. Challenges in big data transfer
The challenge of storing and transferring big data is a critical one. As the amount of data created by connected devices increases, storage capacity is quickly becoming limited. This makes it necessary to use frameworks to store and transfer big data that are capable of scalability and enhancing data access time. These frameworks are designed to handle heterogeneous data, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. When properly used, these frameworks allow companies to analyze and visualize data that helps in accurate decision making.
Traditionally, big data has consisted of unstructured, low-density information. These datasets are typically massive in size, ranging from tens of terabytes to several petabytes. The amount of data also comes at a rapid rate, meaning that it must be processed and analyzed quickly. Once the data has been processed, it can be valued.
